Got local art?
Pasadena is hosting SKIN
This Art and Ideas Festival is a first in the city of Roses – and you don’t want to miss out. Over 22 days, 26 venues including the best city’s art institutions and art community will offer performances, exhibitions and more all centering around the theme of “skin.”
“…goal is for the theme to ignite a broad discourse and provide multiple perspectives that are both innovative and timely, as well as artistically and intellectually resonant to a diverse audience and a changing world.”
Get more info at the official website, with partners (including Huntington Library, PMCA, Art Center, Gamble House, Armory, etc.) and the schedule of events.
Art Night is back!
For one night in October, all the museums in Pasadena are free! And not only that, but public transportation to and from the museums is also free! How can you beat that?
Art Night takes place on Oct. 12th from 6 PM to 10 PM. More information on museums and events can be found here.
